Chinese Tui-Na Massage

Chinese (Tui-Na) Massage Therapy

Utilised for medical purposes instead of relaxation, Tui Na works to correct the patient’s problems, from muscular conditions to diseases and even minor and major headaches.  The Chinese massage Tui-You is a traditional technique that combines high quality body oil with specific techniques of the therapeutic massage Chinese Tui-na.  So here you will get a double benefit, “relaxation” and “therapy”.

Relaxation MassageRelaxation Massage

Relaxation massage is all about relaxing.  It focuses on giving the client time to recover from the stresses of daily life, and as with any kind of massage, the benefits of a relaxation massage can last for several days after your treatment.

Swedish MassageSwedish Massage

One of the primary goals of the Swedish massage technique is to relax the entire body.  This is accomplished by rubbing the muscles with long gliding strokes in the direction of blood returning to the heart.  But Swedish massage therapy goes beyond relaxation.  Swedish massage is exceptionally beneficial for increasing the level of oxygen in the blood, decreasing muscle toxins, improving circulation and flexibility while easing tension.

Indian Head MassageIndian Head Massage

Indian Head Massage works on areas affected by mental and emotional stress.  In Western culture today we spend much of our time in our heads, so this treatment can really help to calm the mind and is surprisingly deeply relaxing.  Working with a firm and gentle rhythm it helps to relieve muscular discomfort and tension as well as calming the spirit, aiding relaxation, and also improves circulation in the head, enhances the senses and promotes clear thinking.

Ear CandlingEar Candling

Ear Candling is a safe, gentle method of cleansing the ear canal by means of inserting a hollow “candle”.  The process can remove excessive ear wax, excess fluid (alleviating the pain and pressure resulting from sinus and allergy problems), has been known to reduce the noise from Tinnitus and can remove the debris and blockage from old infections.

Cupping is one of the best deep tissue massage available and is used to relieve back and neck pains, stiff muscles, anxiety, fatigue, migraines, rheumatism, and even cellulite.  Traditionally, suction is created by placing an inverted cup over a small flame.  However, we use the more modern mechanical vacuum cups which are adjustable, therefore allowing the therapist to decrease intensity should the customer feel uncomfortable with the standard vacuum.
